about me.
I have been dancing and performing for 35 years. I am a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts. I attended Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. I then received my BFA in Choreography and Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University (magna cum laude). After graduation, I started dancing with Dendy Dance (Mark Dendy). I then taught, choreographed, and danced for Liz Lerman. I moved to Amsterdam to work with Vincent Cacalano. While abroad I was a guest artist with Magpie Music and Dance. I created my own work, did long term projects with Danish choreographer Eric Pold, and Dutch choreographer Martin Butler. I returned to the U.S. and received my Masters in Dance from the University of Utah. I taught at East Carolina University for a year before joing the faculty in the Department of Theater and Dance at Tulane. I have worked with such distinguished artists as Melanie Stewart, Kattie Duck, Vincent Cacalano, Adrienne Clancy, Reggie Crump, Stephanie George, and Michaela Cannon.
